Instalment Billing & Loyalty Points

instalment billing

If you offer customers instalment payment plans, then Orbital has the experience and an extensive end-to-end suite of functionality to support this complex process. This includes managing continuity programmes delivering collectables or other product types over a pre-defined period of time.

Instalment Billing

Payment by instalments is particularly useful if you are selling high value products or if your target audience doesn’t have easy access to credit.

Customers can choose continuous authority payment on their credit/debit card, post their payment or call. In addition to ‘live’ contact centre agents, card payments can also be processed 24/7 through an automated service (interaction via either speech recognition or touch tone).

Reminder or ‘dunning’ letters can be sent to customers when their next payment is due.

  • Highly configurable products and instalment plan set-up
  • Customer credit screening
  • A wide range of customer payment options including continuous authority and direct debit
  • Website integration allowing customers to manage their order(s)/account online within clearly defined business rules
  • Experienced Response Centre environment with specialist staff
  • Configurable credit rules based upon the customer’s lifetime/order value
  • Automated pro-forma invoicing
  • Return/save incentives
  • Production, printing and mailing/emailing of flexible dunning/chase cycle letters

 Continuities

Loyalty points

  • When this functionality is active, loyalty points are rewarded based upon ordered items
  • Points are calculated based upon a multiplicand at item level. An audit trail of rewarded points is maintained at customer level
  • Customers have the ability to opt in or out of the scheme
  • Parameters exist to control the maximum age and minimum age of loyalty points
  • Active loyalty points are converted into vouchers by an automatable batch job with a minimum point’s threshold configurable for voucher conversion.  The value of the voucher to be created is based on the result of each multiple of the minimum number of points each customer has, multiplied by a financial multiplier
  • Once vouchers have been created, functionality exists for the voucher to be emailed to customers with a unique voucher reference
  • Voucher redemption through Orbital’s Response Centre
